Terms and Conditions

Salon Services Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment or receiving services at DOT ZERO Hair Studio, the client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Consultation and Service Agreement

Before any service begins, clients will undergo a consultation with a stylist to determine the appropriate treatment, expected outcome, and hair condition.

By proceeding with the service, the client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The client understands the recommended service and process.
  • Hair services, especially chemical treatments such as bleaching, coloring, rebonding, perming, and smoothing, may produce varying results depending on the hair’s condition and previous treatments.
  • The stylist will perform the service using professional judgment and best practices.

Clients agree that results may vary due to factors including but not limited to:

  • Prior chemical treatments
  • Hair condition and texture
  • Previous color history
  • Home hair care routines

2. No Refund Policy

All salon services are final and non-refundable once the service has been started or completed.

Due to the nature of professional salon services:

  • Refunds will not be issued for completed services.
  • If a client has concerns about the results, the salon may offer an adjustment or corrective service, subject to management approval.

Requests for service adjustments must be reported within 48 hours of the original appointment.

3. Service Adjustments

If a client is dissatisfied with a service result:

  • The salon must be notified within 48 hours of the appointment.
  • The client may be asked to return to the salon for an evaluation.
  • The salon reserves the right to determine whether an adjustment is appropriate.

Corrective services may involve:

  • Toner adjustments
  • Color refinements
  • Minor styling corrections

Adjustments do not include a full redo or refund.

4. Client Disclosure Responsibility

Clients must inform the stylist of any relevant hair history including:

  • Previous bleaching
  • Box dye use
  • Rebonding or relaxing treatments
  • Keratin or smoothing treatments
  • Allergies or scalp sensitivities

Failure to disclose accurate hair history may affect results and limits the salon’s responsibility for the final outcome.

5. Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Appointments may require confirmation prior to the scheduled service time.

Clients may receive confirmation through:

  • Phone call
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Social media messaging

If an appointment is not confirmed when requested, the salon reserves the right to release the booking slot. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients.

The salon reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Decline services if hair condition may cause severe damage from requested treatments

6. Late Arrival Policy

Clients arriving late may receive a shortened service time to avoid delaying other scheduled appointments.

If a client arrives significantly late:

  • The appointment may be rescheduled
  • The service may be modified

7. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion of the service.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • Credit or debit cards
  • Digital payments

All credit card transactions are processed with authorization from the issuing bank.

By completing payment, the client acknowledges that the services were received and accepted.

8. Chargeback & Payment Disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes for services that were rendered and completed may be contested by the salon.

DOT ZERO Hair Studio reserves the right to submit evidence including:

  • Service records
  • Appointment records
  • POS transaction receipts
  • CCTV footage (if applicable)
  • Communication records

These records may be provided to payment processors and financial institutions to verify the legitimacy of the transaction.

9. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. The salon is not liable for lost or damaged personal items brought into the premises.

10. Photography and Marketing

The salon may take photographs of hair results for documentation and marketing purposes.

Photos will primarily focus on the hair and hairstyle results. If a client prefers not to appear in photographs, they must notify the staff before the service.

11. Right to Refuse Service

DOT ZERO Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse service in cases including but not limited to:

  • Severe hair damage that may worsen with treatment
  • Health or safety concerns
  • Inappropriate behavior toward staff or other clients

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, receiving services, or completing payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
